LEESBURG, VA - Local and family owned auto repair chain Hogan & Sons Tire and Auto recently lent its support to a fundraiser for veterans severely wounded in combat. Hogan & Sons Tire and Auto provided key sponsorship to the "Fore Our Troops" charity golf tournament held April 17, 2015 at The Golf Club at Landsdowne in Landsdowne, Virginia.

The golf tournament raised money for the Coalition to Support America's Heroes, a non-profit organization which assists severely wounded combat veterans. A high point of the tournament was a parachute jump by double-amputee veteran Dana Bowman who waved a large American flag as he landed on the green early Friday morning to kick off the tournament. Golfers also had the chance to meet and play golf with other wounded veterans, while competing for team awards, hole prizes and raffle items. Hogan & Sons contributed through a sponsorship of the event to support the Coalition's cause.

"Hogan & Sons Tire and Auto was pleased to be part of this effort to honor our combat wounded veterans. We are humbled by the contributions of these war heroes and gladly support an organization that is on the forefront of directly assisting our disabled veterans in their struggles upon their return home," said company President John F. Hogan III.
